As members were cleaning the rescue tools and the apparatus from the previous entrapment call , the department was dispatched at 1515 for a vehicle accident with reported entrapment in the area of 271 Lancaster Pike. Rescue 50 and Engine 501 made the quick response an arrived to find an SUV off the roadway with the driver still inside. Crews from the Engine Co and Rescue Co stabilized the vehicle and removed the windshield to get the driver out. The driver had minor injuries and was handed over to EMS upon extrication from the vehicle. Fire Police from several area departments were also called into assist with closing down the highway.
