At 1309 the Rescue was dispatched to assist 54 (Lampeter) on a vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer. While responding units were advised from the police department on the scene of a car on its side with confinement. Units from 54 and 50 arrived to find a passenger vehicle on its side with the driver still inside the vehicle. Both departments went to work on stabilization of the vehicle. Members from the Rescue Company went to work on doing a roof flap of the vehicle. Once that task was complete , members assisted EMS with the removal of the patient from the vehicle. After the patient was in care of EMS , crews took care of a large fluid spill from the tractor trailer. Traffic 50 also made the response and assisted with detouring traffic around the accident scene till things could be cleared up. Members operated for a little under 2 hours.
