WORKING FIRE FOR THE RESCUE COMPANY

Just before 2100 , Company 63 ( Lafayette) and surrounding units were dispatched to the 600 blk of Enfield Rd for a house on fire. While enroute , communications advised the duty officer from 63 that they were getting a couple phone calls and police department was on the scene with fire showing. The duty officer from 63 requested the working fire dispatch bringing Rescue 50 to the scene. The rescue arrived and reported to command where they were put to work right away do to getting reports of entrapment inside the house. The rescue company went to work searching the inside of the house. No victims were found inside the house. The rescue was then reassigned to start opening up the 1st floor and work on fire attack. The crews knocked a bulk of the fire down before being pulled out of the house due to the roof coming in on the house. The rescue crew worked the next 2 hrs assisting crews on the scene.
