At 1612, Engine 502 and 542 ( Lampeter) were alerted for a vehicle fire at Rt 272 S / Long Lane. Engine 502 made the response with 4 personal and was advised that police department was on the scene with an updated location of behind the Turkey Hill . Engine 502 arrived a short time after to find a working engine compartment fire. Crews deployed the booster line and made quick work of the fire. Engine 542 and Rescue 50 assisted with spill control and overhaul of the vehicle. This was call number 3 for the day for the volunteers. The day side crew also responded to a vehicle accident and a gas leak in the 1st due.
