Around 1800 hrs the Tower was dispatched to assist Company 58 ( Rawlinsville) on a brush fire on River Rd in the area of Marticville Road . Chief 58 arrived to find a trestle bridge that was well involved . The bridge was approx 120 ft above the roadway and approx 584 ft long . The tower arrived and set up on River Road to go into master stream operations to try and knock as much fire as possible. After flowing for about 40 mins the tower was shut down and repositioned to the other side of the bridge . Crews reset up the and started knocked more fire down . The tower was supplied by Engine 531 ( Conestoga) which was getting the water supply from a near by creek. The station had additional crews in station while the tower was out. The members handled a fire alarm which turned out to be food on the stove. The tower remained on the scene till around 0030 .

Additional photo's will be posted later

Thank you and your fellow fire companies for getting this fire out. I love hiking and had not known that this section of the trail existed. Am disappointed that I will not get to explore this bridge. Thank you again for all of your hard work.
