Today the volunteers kept busy throughout the day answering calls for service. The day started at 0525 sending the company to Willow Valley Dr for flooding conditions. Crews arrived to find a 80 gallon hot water heater on the 2nd floor leaking. Crews remained on the scene for 1 1/2 hrs assisting the homeowner. The at 1201 hrs the units from 512 and 54 were dispatched to a vehicle accident in the 1200 blk of Village Rd. Rescue and Engine 512-2 were onscene for about 10 mins before getting released. At 1502 hrs 512 and 54 units were back on the street for another vehicle accident. This time the accident was in the 700 blk of Village Rd. Units arrived with a car into a pole down leaking oil from the transformer. Crews remained onscene till the arrival of PPL.
