At 1619 the rescue was dispatched to the 100 blk of Sunset Dr in East Drumore Township for a house fire assisting Quarryville Fire Co. Chief 5-7-2 (Ryan) arrived quickly and reported a working fire from a 2 1/2 story farm house. Crews from 5-7 made a great knock down on a progressing fire.  The rescue arrived to set up RIT for units working.  After the fire was under control the personnel from the Rescue were put to work with overhaul.  The rescue remained on scene until after 1900 assisting the 5-7 crews.
