At 0652 hours the Company was alerted for a Public Service at 1402 Eshelman Mill Road, Witmers Mulch. Upon response units were advised that the caller reported a dog that was in a approximately10,000 gallon under ground water tank. Rescue 50 arrived to confirm the report. Crew placed a ladder up to the tank and was able to get the dog to swim over to the rescue personal. Crews assisted the dog out from the water tank. The dog had no injuries other then he was very wet. The dog was turned over to the West Lampeter Twp police department. The owner of the dog was located and custody was turned back to the owner.
