The day started at 08:30 with a vehicle accident at Pennsy Road and Route 272 northbound in Providence Township for an accident. The accident was called out by EMS responding to another call in the area. PSP ( state police) arrived and requested Fire Police and the Rescue to the scene to assist. The rescue arrived to find a minor accident. Crews preformed minor spill control and debris removal.

While Rescue 50 returning from the accident in Providence Twp , Communications alerted the Rescue for a fire alarm in the 1st due on Willow Valley Lakes Drive. Engine 502 and 542 ( Lampeter) also made the response. Rescue 50 arrived to find steam from a shower. No services were needed and the incident was cleared out.T

Then at 12:57 Rescue 50 responded to another spill control at 2600 Willow Street Pike, in the parking lot in front of Kmart. The rescue company found a vehicle leaking gas in the parking lot. Crews applied oil dry and stopped the leak.

Shortly thereafter at 15:14, Willow Street, Lampeter and Lancaster City Fire units were dispatched to Lancaster County Central Park for an Environmental Rescue. There was a hiker on a trail with a medical emergency . The Lancaster County Park Rangers made access to the trail via vehicle along with Engine 643 ( City Fire) The hiker was assisted out of the woods under his own power to awaiting EMS.

Just after dinner time as the company was clearing another fire alarm , A box alarm was sent out for smoke in the building on Willow Street Pike S in Pequea Twp. ( Co 60's area) Engine 502 and Tower 50 arrived and confirmed the report of a kitchen fire. Units made quick work of the kitchen and cleared a short time later.
