At 2249 the department and surrounding companies were dispatched to the 1st blk of Snyder Hollow Rd for a possible house on fire. Engine 502 ( Chief Reese)was advised upon response by LCWC 911 it was now a possible barn on fire. While making the response a large volume of fire was seen by the Engine. At this point a 2nd alarm was requested for additional manpower and water needed. Engine 502 arrived and confirmed the report of a well involved barn. Crews from Engine 502 and Tower 50 deployed several lines from Engine 502 to protect the exposures as well as starting to knock the fire down. Tanker 59 ( Refton) arrived next and hooked into the line that Engine 502 dropped at the driveway and supplied the scene. As additional units arrived a supply line was laid from the scene to Miller Rd . Those units also sent there manpower to the scene to go to work. Chief 58 ( Rawlinsville ) took charge of water supply and did a wonderful job making sure the scene didn't run out of water .
