At 2038 Company 50 and surrounding units were dispatched to the 500 blk Woodhall Dr for a reported house fire . Assistant 50 ( Rhineer ) arrived to find fire showing from an attached garage. Engine 502 ( Chief Reese ) and Tower 50 ( Capt Ebersole ) arrived at the same time and went right to work . The crew from the engine deployed 2 hands lines. The first line was deployed to the garage to start knocking down the fire down while the 2nd line went in through the front door . Tower 50 crews split up throwing ladders and opening up for the engine crew to put a knock on the garage fire . Engine 542 ( Lampeter) arrived and deployed a back up line to assist the units from 50 that were operating. The fire was knocked down with in 5 minutes of arrival with minimal extension into the house . Additional crews assisted with checking and monitoring area's of the house for fire extension. Rescue 57 ( Quarryville ) handled the RIT duties then was put into the manpower pool once the incident was placed under control .
